After interviewing dozens of bitcoin-related social projects for our social media, in 2023 we decided to write a book about the stories of the most developed BCE’s at the time.

The Bitcoin Circular Economies book is an in-depth exploration of the stories of hope from the communities that built the first bitcoin circular economies in the world. They portray the most human side of Bitcoin. A living proof of how, even in remote and poor areas, when you fix the money the world can be fixed. We believe that a better, sovereign and decentralized future is possible when Bitcoin replaces inflationary fiat currencies as store of value and medium of exchange.

The authors of the book xpledged to donate all the proceeds generated by the book back to the circular economies and Bitcoin education projects. The book is also being printed and sold locally in the different communities to contribute to their development as well as being distributed freely as a PDF and audio book.

Given the growing number of BCE’s, we decided to expand the scope of the book to include new stories on top of the initial ones. As a consequence, new “special editions” are being released including one extra chapter to be distributed in that particular region. Bitcoin Indonesia is the first special edition to be released.
